It's good to know a few places out there give a shit. They're few and far these days. I also commend you for sticking your personality into "your" blog. Who gives a shit, if not everyone relates...because those that do are the ones you'll attract, which are the ones you'll click with anyway.
totally agree Derek. Living it out makes as huge difference for your customers, and who they tell later... I make a point of ensuring that customers are taken care of. period. And we find out what "continuous improvements" can be made in the company as a result.
I think the use of the word "shit" could be put in better terms....I think professionalism is the number one key when working in a customer orientated environment. Just a thought.
I wouldn't encourage a retail store, restaurant etc. to call it "giving a shit about your customers", you are right. Me on the other hand, this is my personal blog and that's how I like to get my point across. Some people obviously are going to be turned off, but for some it makes the message more powerful.
Great tip Derek as always! Giving a shit about your customers is always one of those ones that some companies and business owners just don't understand and that makes no sense! Caring and responding is what is going to bring people back to your business over and over again. Keep it up and continue to give a shit...and maybe take a shit too! haha
